Salam, I am Naima and this is my story
My journey has been shaped by resilience, change, and the search for meaning. Growing up between Somalia and Yemen meant living in environments where uncertainty was part of daily life. Those early experiences taught me strength, compassion, and the importance of finding hope even in the hardest moments.
For 14 years, I worked with international NGOs and UN agencies in the humanitarian and development field. I was involved in programs that supported people through crises, offering both relief and opportunities where they were needed most. Yet, over time, I came to a powerful realization: true and lasting change doesn’t only come from external support—it begins from within.
I saw, especially with women, how much strength and potential were waiting to be uncovered once they were given the space to reconnect with themselves. Women facing both the visible challenges of conflict and the invisible weight of cultural and systemic barriers often needed something more—a safe space to rebuild confidence, rediscover their voice, and step forward with courage.
That’s when my path led me to coaching. Today, I work with women who are ready to create change in their lives, whether it’s by breaking old patterns, finding clarity in times of transition, or stepping into leadership with confidence. Through one-on-one sessions and group programs, I focus on healing, resilience, and rewriting the stories we tell ourselves.
What I’ve learned—through my life and my work—is that there is always a way forward, even when the path feels uncertain. My role as a coach is to walk alongside women as they find that way, supporting them as they grow into the fullest version of themselves.
